CLARITY Glass polish
THIS IS NOT A GLASS CLEANER. Glass cleaners wipe off road film and fingerprints. CLARITY does something different — and harder. CLARITY is a glass polishing compound that mechanically removes the contamination cleaners can't touch: hard water etching, mineral spots from sprinkler overspray, wiper streak burn-in, road salt residue baked into the surface, and the cloudy haze that builds up over years of weather. If your windshield looks dirty even after a full wash, the contamination isn't on the glass — it's in it. CLARITY takes it out.
HOLMIUM OXIDE. THE SAME COMPOUND OPTICS LABS USE. Most consumer glass polishes use cerium oxide — fine for light water spots, limited on heavy etching. CLARITY is built on holmium oxide, a rare earth abrasive used in optical lens manufacturing and precision glass finishing. Higher cutting power. Cleaner finish. Less hazing on the final pass. The same chemistry category that polishes camera lenses and laboratory glassware — adapted for automotive glass at a fraction of the cost.
MULTI-ABRASIVE SYSTEM. CONTROLLED CUT, CONTROLLED FINISH. Single-abrasive polishes either cut hard and finish rough, or finish clean and cut nothing. CLARITY layers three abrasives at engineered ratios: holmium oxide for the deep cut, aluminum oxide for the mid-stage refinement, and aluminum silicate plus calcium carbonate for the final polish to optical clarity. Heavy contamination breaks down across the three stages and lifts off the glass without leaving the haze that single-grit polishes leave behind. The way professional glass polishes are formulated — and almost no consumer products are.
WATER-BASED. NO STREAKS. NO RESIDUE. Most glass polishes are oil-based slurries that leave a film you have to chase with a separate cleaner. CLARITY is built on a 78% water carrier — when you rinse, the abrasive and the contamination wash off together, leaving glass that's both polished and clean in a single operation. No oily residue. No film on adjacent paint. No second product needed.
4 OZ. UP TO A YEAR OF GLASS RESTORATIONS. CLARITY is concentrated. Four to six drops on a foam glass polishing pad covers one full panel. A single 4 oz bottle delivers enough product for multiple full-vehicle polishes — typically a year-plus of glass restoration on a daily driver, longer on a weekend car. You're not paying for filler. You're paying for the rare earth abrasive that makes the difference.
WHEN TO USE IT. CLARITY is not a weekly product. Most vehicles need glass polishing once or twice a year — after a season of hard water exposure, after a long road trip through bug-heavy or salt-heavy country, before a ceramic glass coating, or before a vehicle sale to restore the windshield to factory clarity. Apply by hand with a foam glass polishing pad, or with a dual-action polisher at 1500–2500 RPM. Work one panel at a time, keep the glass cool, rinse thoroughly, and finish with a quality glass cleaner for streak-free clarity.
NOT FOR DAILY GLASS CLEANING. CLARITY contains abrasives. Do not use as a spray cleaner. Do not apply to plastic trim, ceramic-coated paint, or tinted window film. For daily glass maintenance — fingerprints, road film, light dust — use a dedicated glass cleaner. CLARITY is the once-or-twice-a-year deep restoration that brings the glass back to baseline so the daily cleaner can do its job.
STAND BEHIND IT BECAUSE WE USE IT. Every Detail Labs product gets used on our own vehicles before it ever ships. CLARITY is what we reach for when the windshield has been through Texas summer and a sprinkler season and a 2,000-mile road trip — and a regular glass cleaner won't touch it. If it doesn't outperform whatever glass polish you're using right now, we want to hear about it.
