LATHER lifts road film, brake dust, bug splatter, and traffic grime off your paint without dulling a single layer of wax, sealant, or ceramic coating. Many car wash soaps cheat — they go alkaline to break down dirt faster, and they take the slickness, beading, and gloss of your coating with them. Dish soap is worse: it's engineered to strip oils, and that's exactly what it does to the surface chemistry that gives your coating its hydrophobic feel. LATHER's coconut-derived surfactant blend encapsulates contaminants and rinses them clean, leaving your coating's performance exactly where you put it.

PH 7.0 TO 7.5. THE NUMBER MOST BOTTLES DON'T PRINT.
Walk down any auto parts aisle and read the labels. You won't find a pH number on most of them. In our own testing, a lot of shelf soaps land well into alkaline territory — enough to dull a wax in a couple of washes and slowly erode the day-to-day feel of a ceramic coating over months. LATHER tests at pH 7.0 to 7.5: chemically neutral, the same range as pure water and human skin. Your coating doesn't know it was washed. Your paint doesn't know it was scrubbed. The dirt is gone. The protection is intact.

Neutral pH is what makes LATHER safe across finishes, not just paint. Clear coat, ceramic coatings, wax, sealant, paint protection film, and gloss vinyl all wash the same way — nothing stripped, nothing dulled, no edge-lifting or clouding on film. PPF and wraps are where alkaline soaps do their quiet damage over months of washes. LATHER doesn't.

NOT FOR MATTE OR SATIN WRAPS.
Flat finishes are the one place we tell you to reach for something else. A matte or satin film scatters light by texture, and LATHER's surfactant system can leave an uneven sheen, streaking, or a faint glossy haze across that texture — and once it's there, it's a genuinely difficult thing to undo. Use a shampoo formulated specifically for matte and satin films instead. Most brands leave this off the label. We'd rather you not find out on your hood.

THICK FOAM ISN'T COSMETIC. IT'S MECHANICAL.
Foam looks impressive on a reel, but the real job is lubrication. The thicker and longer-lasting the foam, the longer it dwells on the panel before rinse, and the more dirt it encapsulates and lifts off the surface before your wash mitt ever touches the paint. Less mitt-on-paint contact means fewer scratches, fewer swirls, fewer wash-induced defects in your clear coat. LATHER's high-foam formula clings to vertical panels for minutes — not seconds — so the soap does work the mitt would otherwise have to do. That's why a foam cannon is how we'd recommend running it.

LATHER is a concentrate. Foam cannon (preferred): 1 to 3 oz per 32 oz of water. Wash bucket: 1 to 3 oz per 5 gallons. A single 16 oz bottle delivers roughly eight to sixteen full vehicle washes, depending on your dilution, your foam preference, and how dirty the car gets. You're not paying to ship water across the country. You're paying for the chemistry that does the work.
